The Reconquest of Paradise is a 3 minute long animated loop with sound that depicts an ‘idealistic’ future of Hungary. It is an exaggerate idyll with a centralized common taste of the Hungarian government.
The original painting bears a lot of national references (Nationalistic architectural elements; An ancient Hungarian yurt; The fountain in the shape of the Hungarian crown)
I tried to invent the most concentrated, condensed utopia possible. I was particularly interested in how religion and esoteria mixes in this worldview.
